One-on-One with Scotty’s Automotive Services in Montague, NJ

Hi! I'm Scot Boyce, owner of Scotty’s Automotive Services in Montague, NJ. Thank you for your interest in our auto repair shop. I hope we'll get to know each other in person, but in the meantime, let me tell you a little bit about my background and credentials…

I started working on go-carts and dirt bikes when I was a kid, and moved on to vehicles as I grew older. I went to work at a few different independent auto repair shops, beginning my professional career in the automotive industry in 1991. After graduating from high school, I went to Lincoln Tech, and got a job at a Chevy dealership. However, I always wanted to work for myself, and run an honest, respected business in my community.

Different in a good way…

My dream came true in March of 2009 when Scotty’s Automotive Services opened its doors and began serving the NJ-NY-PA tristate area. As a business owner, I love working close to home and employing local people. I feel I can truly help my customers, and play a positive role in the community, by providing a valuable service that makes a difference in people's lives. In addition to my degree from Lincoln Tech, I am ASE Master certified and I have a NJ State Inspector License.

Community Involvement

I believe an important aspect of truly being part of the community is giving back. I am involved with C.L.E.A.R., an outreach program for drug and alcohol addiction. I am also involved with Delaware Valley Tech School, where we help students with learning disabilities get into auto repair shops for some experience before graduating. Also, our shop does a lot with Montague area churches as far as food drives for local food pantries. We donate to every community tricky tray, and are involved with Montague Township Day. We support local Boy Scout troops, 4H, local baseball, football, wrestling teams and local car shows in Montague and Pennsylvania.

We thank you, Montague, for your loyalty and support!
